Attendance
Attendance
We understand life gets busy—our team will send reminders for upcoming classes when possible. However, it’s each learner’s responsibility to:
- Keep track of your class schedule and attend sessions on time.
- Check your registered email or student portal regularly for updates.
- Ensure your device, internet connection, microphone, and camera are working.
- Missed classes due to forgetfulness or preventable tech issues will not be eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.

Absenteeism
You may cancel or reschedule your class. To respect the teacher’s preparation time and scheduling, please notify the course assistant at least 4 hours before the class time.
If no notice of absence is given, or notice is given within four hours of the class time, it will be marked as a completed class (one prepaid class will be deducted as usual).
If notice of absenteeism is given at least 4 hours in advance, there will be no deduction from your prepaid classes.
If a classmate is absent from a group class, the classmate in attendance may continue as normal.
Validity & Grace Period
When purchasing a course, please note the expiration date, and complete all classes within the period of validity.
Validity periods will be extended according to national holidays that occur during the course, and in the event of an absent teacher.
Classes that are not completed within the extended validity period will be forfeited.
Refunds & Transfers
Refunds and Transfers
Purchased classes are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a peer, if that peer is admissible to the same course.
A transfer of remaining credit needs to be arranged with the course assistant.
Change of Teacher
Typically, students choose a regular teacher who reserves fixed time slots for the student each week.
Students are allowed to have multiple teachers, and may request a change of teacher at any time.
In the exceptional case of a teacher leaving his/her position permanently, students may have trial classes with up to 3 other teachers at no cost in order to choose a new teacher.
Respectful Conduct
Any form of verbal abuse, harassment, bullying, or discriminatory language directed at instructors or classmates is strictly prohibited. This includes written messages in chat and spoken language during lessons.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension from classes, or permanent removal from the platform, depending on severity.
Health and Safety
While our platform is designed for safe and accessible education, we ask that all users take responsibility for their personal environment and digital practices.
- Ensure that your physical environment is safe and comfortable for online learning.
- Take regular breaks from screen time to support eye health and concentration.
- Use headphones or speakers at a safe volume to avoid hearing strain.
- Children under 13 should participate under adult supervision unless stated otherwise.

By using our services, you agree to release and hold harmless Strawberry English, its instructors, staff, and affiliates from any liability arising from your participation in classes, technical issues, or third-party interactions.
